" SOOCHIPARA WATERFALL "- Interesting Waterfall

Soochipara Waterfall is located at Vellarimala village in Meppady Panchayath in Wayanad. The literal meaning of ' Soochi ' is the local language is 'needle'. In order to reach this falls you needs to go through the Green Tea Gardans. The nice aroma of Tea Leaves is present in this atmosphere. One has to make a walk for 1 Km from the parking area as to reach the waterfalls. Soochipara is a spectacular waterfall where the water cascades down in three steps from a height of about 200 m in vellarimala. There is no cloak room and no facility to change the Dress. So, Don't be shy, just remove your clothes and enjoy the Waterfalls.

" EDAKKAL CAVES "- Dangerous Caves

Edakkal Caves are two natural Caves, it located 25 Km from Kalpetta in Wayanad. It's really terrible and pathetic place to go. You have to walk a very long distance from the foot. So this place is very difficult to climb becos you need to climb almost 750 M which is very steep. So this place is not a good place to visit with Kids and Elders. The Stone Age carvings of Edakkal Caves are rare and the only known examples from South India. The view from the top of Edakkal Caves is amazing Scenery. There, when started raining no shelter to stand.

" BANASURA PARK "- Oonjaal Park

The Banasura Park is located in nearest of Banasura Sagar Dam.

" BANASURA DAM "- Beautiful Dam

Banasura Sagar Dam is the largest Earth Dam in India and the Second largest of its kind in India. It is located 21 Km from Kalpetta in Wayanad. The Dam is made up of massive stacks of Stones and boulders. Boating facility are available in this Dam. It surrounded by scenery mountains and it's a popular picnic spot in Wayanad. The Scenery view point will be a pleassurable experience that could cherished for year to come Banasura Dam.
